when i finished my first ep, an acquaintance clued me in that i was making ‘idm’. i asked what it meant, to which he seemingly replied ‘intelligent darts music’.

i’ve been doing melodic electronic music on my computer since 2002. when the postal service released ‘wake up’, my friend gave it to me because it reminded her of my pop-ier unreleased stuff. i’m not staking any claims, but when i have some time not in bands, i’d like to finish an ep. maybe have a friend sing on it, in duet. my thin bass/baritone does not necessarily lend itself to lead work.
i love the electronic medium, because thus far, i don’t use a controller interface. the writing is purely in the realm of ideas, not at all informed by muscle memory.
