learn to paint

Maybe not so much ‘learn to paint’ as just ‘paint more’! I’ve recently made a painting again, but the stuff is still in boxes, waiting to be put out in the open so I can see all my paint and brushes and do something with it much more often!

A tiny bit of progress: I bought coloring pencils, so I can start with this sort of online course to learn how to draw/paint. I can re-learn everything I ever learned in art-school (and then forgot)!

I just bought a house, and when we move it means I can get my paint-stuff out again! Now we live in such a small place so all my paint and canvasses and stuff was in a box in the cellar of my boyfriend’s parents, but in I guess two months or so I can get it out again in my new house and actually have room for an easel and all my stuff! I’m so looking forward to it! Then it will be much easier to work on this goal!

I haven’t been doing some painting for some time now because everytime I look at the canvas and have my paint around me, nothing comes out of it! I know what I want to paint, but I just lack the techniques, which is frustrating! This results in painting something that looks rubbish and nothing like it looked like in my mind… Someday I must do a course in painting!
