become fluent with my computer

at 26 I really thought I would be able to figure out how to create my own cool layouts or even be able to actually transfer photos, but nope can’t do it dont know how. this sucks

I took computer application 2 times in high school, but I guess I slept thru class because I just feel like I am an idiot when it comes to downloading stuff, burning cd’s, and even pretty much any general knowlege that any 14years old would know about getting the best out of the internet and a computer. But I on’t know what aol is and I stumbled on to the 43 things web site by accident. So I definitly need to get some kind of skills with this thing and I don’t even know where to begin. I feel like a total ass when someone,my boyfriend ususally, has to help me get to what I want from the computer because I am 26 and this is my first computer. Plus I always want really neat websites to check out but don’t know any. So I am constantly reading the stupid aol news screen. Aghhhhh
