and meanwhile I’ve stolen four street signs.
1) 4 km to the Arrival
2) Caution – Wet Floor (I´ve stolen the shopping cart too) (Italian: “Pavimento scivoloso”)
3) Authorized Personnel Only (Italian: “vietato l’ingresso ai non addetti ai lavori”)
4) Stop!
I have to say, I’ve been very brave to steal the fourth. I found it under a tree, abandoned among some others signs like arrows and such. I had to go home by foot… so I crossed the centre of my town carrying a stop sign and hiding it under my sister’s hoodie. Of course it couldn’t cover the whole sign, so everyone noticed the red sparkling thing anyway. We met our friend’s father, who stopped by and asked “What the hell are you doing with a stop sign?!”. So we supposed it was easy to understand what we were hiding… at that thought I couldn’t help myself laughing. He then asked me if I wanted a traffic light too, I said no, but it might be useful for the bathroom.
Still and all, my father was very upset.
I didn’t care. I loveee my street sign collection.
