Take action to be happy. Do things that make me feel good.
Know myself well enough to know what will make me feel good and what will not.
Be comfortable being and doing things alone.
But also, welcome others, as they shouldn’t be able to control my feelings of a situation or activity.
This means that I ultimately have control over my emotions and moods. Other people can disappoint me or make me insecure but it is up to me to let those things roll off me. I don’t need another person to acknowledge me to feel good and someone else succeeding isn’t indicative of my own failure. It’s me. What I think is what matters. How I feel about a person or a situation – and I have control over that. At least somewhat..
