on TV. Doesn’t matter how many channels, its mostly mindless rubbish repeated in an endless loop interspersed every 10 minutes with 3-5 mins of adverts. Aaaaarghh.
And I only watch about 2-3 hours a day. What do people who watch 6 hours actually watch??

Clever government’s idea of keeping the little people occupied while they get on with the business of ruining/running the country.
So the government get to be seen as acting like the good caring guys AND they get to make money and pass totally pointless laws! What fun.
The eco nutjobs get lots of attention, so business is good and they get money from everywhere and at the end of the day they get to feed their families and pay their mortgages. What a good scam.
Carbon Footprints!!
Stop breathing everyone. Chop down those carbon dioxide emitting trees NOW. Tax those somoky BBQ’s (we’re vegitarian anyway), more tax on those big family cars, lets cut down on collecting garbage coz the dump’s nearly full and we don’t know where to put the stuff anymore and we’ll call it recycling and save a bundle. While we’re at it, lets make a BIN TAX and people will stop throwing stuff away. Tax families some more coz they take up too much room, use too much electricity and bother us with demanding things like justice, values, no more wars and stuff like that.
I used to care about the environment, do my bit, recycle, plant a tree or two – but the world’s gone mad. The lunatics have taken over the asylum and they’re getting rich out of it!
Can’t open a newspaper, or turn on the TV without some slapper baring all. Saddened that the great Sophia Loren has done it for Playboy (gorgeous though she is at her age). Just thought she was the epitome of grace and dignity. Also disappointed at Helen Mirren. Ah hell. I must be the only person who isn’t naked somewhere on the internet or in a newspaper. When did modesty become a dirty word?
Yesterday was day 1 and already everyone is misbehaving, stripping off etc. What is the world coming to? I’m running out of tv channels to watch that don’t drive me crazy.
Christmas/New Year TV is an endless parade of banal tv reality shows like strictly come dancing in which nobody celebs learn how to cha-cha and then compete against other nobody celebs…

This is but a fraction of viewing delights the BBC had in store for its license payers – and on cable we had endless cop, airport, holiday, bounty hunter reality TV shows and then there was cheaters and classic cheaters, wife swap and other such shows interspersed with old, BAD movies. And of course non-stop football (past, present and future) as well as nostalgic looks at 2006 top goals, misses, teams, players, as well as nostalgic looks at old football matches (why? why? why? would anyone want to watch an old football match – and I don’t mean yesterday or even last week’s match…)
I’m so glad I pay £55 a month for this…
selling at expensive prices. I’ve also had enough of all the junk in the shops that passes for toys, home furnishings, food etc. BRING BACK QUALITY!
