become fluent in korean

my studying of Korean has faltered considerably. In part because I am planing to go back to England next summer and also because I have been lazy. I will do my best to get back on top of this.

I started new lessons in Korean yesterday. It was really fun. Its at a hagwon, but i’m not being taught by the teacher, but by a student that wants to learn English, I guess she is practicing her English when she tells me the vocabulary, and then I explain how to say the same sentence in English correctly, so we are both benefiting from it.

Today, I put the words I learned from yesterday into my BYKI program and went through them in there, so if i can keep this up, I think that i will get much better at korean quickly. BTW my classes are everyday.

A few weeks ago I bought Rosetta Stone Korean Level 1. It wasn’t cheap but it’s really good, and not too boring, so I’ve managed to stick with this and studying it very well.

I’m learning a lot from it, and it’s definitely improving my fluency,

I’m still using BYKI, and the sogang university site, so I’m very happy with the way this is going.

With the BYKI program, my learning is flying by, I’m learning so much new vocabulary a day. I just need to pick up my confidence and use it a lot more rather than just the simple stuff that I use now.

I have at least two free periods at work at the moment, so during this time I usually study Korean, I’m picking it up slowly and I’m sure I will get there eventually.

This is going well, I’ve learned a lot this week, I’ve found a new site that is excellent, Korean Language Study on the InterNET, although no one understands what I’m saying at the moment, its kind of right and I just need to fix the pronunciation.

I have some new sites to use, and I think that my progress will speed up pretty quickly. This site is really good.

This week has gone ok for learning Korean, I got through 2 videos, so can now say ‘what time is it?’ and ‘where is…?’. Also skimming through my book and pick things up from there.

I want to learn Korean while I’m here. There are some good videos on the internet, I will try to watch and learn from one a week.
