be a better teacher

Today I could have been more patient with two of my classes. Tomorrow I will focus on a positive attitude and try to encourage the students more.

I’m continuing my effort towards this goal. I’m constantly evaluating myself and asking my co-teachers and students for tips, comments and advice. I put a lot of effort into preparing my classes and try to make them useful for the students and interesting. The students seem to be enjoying my classes and seem to be learning from them. They had their mid-term exams last week so I’m anxious about the results from the questions related to my classes.

Also I’ve completed my online TEFL course, it wasn’t very difficult but I think that I have learned from it.

I am a teacher now, I’m teaching at Yanggu Girls High School in Yanggu, Gangwondo, South Korea.

I’m really enjoying my work and I’m putting a lot of effort into this.

The other teachers at my school have commented on my diligence and say that the students are enjoying my classes. Also the students have commented on how they enjoy my classes.

I hope that I can continue my effort and continue to make interesting and educational lessons, whilst learning how to improve.

I’m a TEFL teacher in South Korea, I’ve recently finished my first period of time there and I’m going to a new area of the country in December to teach.

Just now I’ve signed up for an online course that will hopefully give me some new ideas and teach me how to be a better teacher.

I have previously done an online course and a weekend course, these were ok, but I feel that I could do with some more knowledge, and now having some experience I can apply this new courses content to what I learned in practice.
