I have a day-long meeting, which may make it easier to resist today. We’ll see. It’s always tought when I run upstairs during these day long workshops not to stop by the boss’s office and grab a piece (or two or three!) to toss in my bag for the afternoon session…
ETA: I made it! The work day isd over and, while I did accept a (small) handful of m&ms from a co-worker, I didn’t dip into the boss’s chocolate. Yay, me!

My boss keeps a bowl of chocolate in her office, free for the taking. She buys yummy mini chocolate bars and encourages everyone to indulge.
I HAVE TO STOP!!!
I have lost close to 80 pounds in the past two years and I have hit a wall. I am convinced that the chocolate – and, more importantly, my recent inability to stay away from it – is at least partially responsible for the wall I have hit. Grr.
I don’t have this snackiness problem at home, only at work. At home, I can savor a small piece of chocolate and be happy and satisfied and not have any more. at work? Not so much.
I want to tie myself to the mast and resist the siren call of the chocolates in the boss’s office! Today has already been lost, but tomorrow is a new chance to say NO!
