learn how to sew

My friend and I are making our own Halloween costumes, nothing fancy, but we had to sew some stuff onto our tops last night. I guess I know a little more about sewing than some people! She was completely clueless…glad I could help her out a little :)

ok…so I’m a strong, independent woman…and deep down inside I’ve always wanted to learn all the domestic arts. It’s kind of a secret desire. I know it’s probably not a big deal, but all my feminist friends would be appalled at learning that I really just want to cook and sew and take care of a family :) Guess I should learn how to do each of those things first…cooking I can handle…sewing…can’t say I’ve sewed anything but a button in my entire life.
