Hmmm … I think the challenge here is meeting truly quality people; I have about 10 “core” friends that I love more than the world. I’ve met about five or six “other” people in the past couple years, but in the context of going out / nightlife / fun … these sorts of friendships develop very quickly I find, but fade just as fast.
