I might have to give up on this one. I have actively failed on this one like three times this month.

The Toronto factor is consuming. Must he be so incredibly fabulous? And he’s not even one of my ex-boyfriends… It is a bit of a story… sigh
This is a very long story… but the short version is… People break up becasue it is broken… Also, there is a process of mental addiction that occurs when you have put so much time and so much effort into something that if you let it go it represents a greater sacrifice than if you just hung on and kept slugging away…
I have one ex-boyfriend that I never think of as long as I don’t see him or talk to him… In toher words, I am over it… but if we talk or see each other or hang out we inevitably begin the arduous road to gettting back together which inevitably ends in disaster as it always does.
We work for the same company but not at the same location… (we dated before we started working together) so I never see him except at the Xmas party. We got back together shortly after last years Xmas party… (Sigh)
I got a call from a friend who was asking about seating and wanted us to all sit at the same table. And I triumphantly said NO! There are over 800 employees at the Xmas party and I don’t have a issue with the guy, in fact he is a fabulous guy but why put myself in a situation where I need to sit with him all night, thus spawning the addiction yet again…
Like a gambler should stay out of the casino and an alcoholic should stay out of the bar, i should just stay away from him…
Good for me for saying No. Yay!!
