Gladys, Berryl, Mildred and Vanessa… lots of fun, lots of eggs. Am still trying to get around to building a new coop for our new backyard so we can enjoy feathery clucking again.

I’m still not sure what kind of chickens to get, I think bantams might be the ticket because then we can have more in the space, but maybe bigger is better. Also, should we raise our own chicks or buy ready to lay birds? I will ponder on these things, but first I’d better build a coop or they will all run away anyway!
