Another month has rolled by and I’m now down a total of 23 pounds. I’m a little disappointed in my self this last week because I went way over my Points limits what with the night out drinking, the fast food meal, and the fat-loaded breakfast on Sunday morning. I not only used up all my “extra” points, but a full day’s worth on top of that. There was no weight gain, but there wasn’t any loss either.
I haven’t been exercising lately either, so I’m going to try to do something at least 2 or 3 times a week. Something is better then nothing.

In the last five weeks I’ve managed to take off 13 pounds, through a combination of diet and exercise. Hopefully in five more weeks I can say I’ve lost another 13 pounds on top of this. :)

Unfortunately, after losing my job and sitting around the house all day, every day, at home, I’ve gained back all but 8 pounds of what I had lost. Needless to say, I did not stick with my exercise program long term.
So as of yesterday, I’m trying again, but this time with a buddy. We can share what we’ve eaten or didn’t but wanted to, what exercise we’ve gotten, and whatever else we feel like talking about. We’ve also planned some days of hiking to stir things up a little.
I’m really hoping that having a buddy this time will make it easier to stick with long-term. The fact that she is built similar to me, and has almost the same amount of weight to lose helps too.

I went to the gym today and weighed myself afterwards and it seems maybe I jumped the gun. Either that or I lost three pounds over the last few days with all the DDR I’ve been playing. hee hee
I’ve also started keeping track of what I’ve been eating, which is helping me see where my weak spots are- extra snacking I don’t really need, etc. I started eating breakfast and that alone is helping to curb a lot of the snacking I usually do.
Hopefully all these little things will help me out in the long run.

Okay, I know being out of work is leaving me a lot less active then I was, but gaining back three pounds is not make me feel very good. I know I’m whining about something really small, but I’m still gonna do it.
I started playing DDR again and went to the gym today too, so shooting for doing something active for at least half an hour every other day if not more often. I need to be losing, not gaining back! lol

It’s been a fe months since I’ve been to the gym. More like five I think. But I went on Saturday night and swam for half an hour, and did the same again tonight after work.
FOr about half of the time I wasn’t going to the gym, I was doing a half hour or more of DDR every night, which was melting the pounds off. Too bad I got bored with it, huh?
Anyway, I’m down to 226 now, so a bit closer to my goals. I am still going to try and do my best to get down to 200 by my birthday, but considering that’s only 6 weeks away, I don’t think it’s too likely. I may get close though. :)

I’m down two more pounds. Weight is now 228. grins Only 28 more to go before I’m at the first real goal… lol. I’m still not in a big hurry to do this, and I’d rather just take my sweet time, one or two pounds here and there, and keep the weight off. I have way too many changes I need to make to myself to do anything in a rush and have the new habits not stick. As everyone says, changes in health and diet need to be lifestyle changes, not just a way to make a quick alteration to yourself.

For the last five weeks I haven;t had a cigarette. I also haven;’t been to the gym. And I’ve eaten ice cream almost every day. And I still lost 5 more pounds.
While I’m not complaining about the weight loss continuing, I do find it a bit odd… I doubt it’s the ice cream, so do I blame stress, better digestion from lack of nicotine, or just think the scale has gone crazy?
I’m looking forward to my DDR platform arriving so I can get busy with that again, and hopefully shed a few more pounds.

I’ve been going three days a week for about a month now, and it’s getting really easy. Even when I’m tired, I still go because I know at the least, I’m going to sleep darn good at night!
I’m thinking of going every other day though instead of just Mon, Wed, and Fri to add an extra few days a month though. Shouldn’t be too hard to get into, though the alternating days each week will make it less regular feeling to me.
Anyway, I’ve managed to take off 2.5 more pounds, so hopefully I can get down to about 15 more by the time Halloween rolls around- it’s my favorite holiday and knowing how much better I’ll look if I can manage this will make it that much more fun!

I tried going to the gym regularly before and it lasted a few weeks I think, then I quit going. However, after getting the job I have now, I’ve felt better all around, and ended up losing about 15 pounds just because of the change in my eating habits and increased daily activity. I also started going to the gym again two weeks ago and have gone three days a week, swimming a half mile each time.
Hopefully in the next month I’ll have myself back up to a mile at a time without putting myself in a state of exhaustion.
I plan to reward myself with a new tattoo once I take off twenty pounds. I figure it’ll take me at least two months to do that, and by then I’ll have the money saved for new ink anyway.
