In the past three weeks, I’ve tried out three new recipes. With a few minor alterations, they’ve all turned out pretty good. And tomorrow I am making chicken soup… and completely winging it. I looked and looked for a recipe that I liked, but none of them looked that good, so I figure I’ll start with my imagination and what I’d like in my soup. I think it’ll turn out alright. :)

Since I’m starting a new diet and exercise regime, I figured I should start looking for interesting, healthy things to eat. Getting bored with your food is a huge way to kill your health eating attempt. I’ve decided to try out one new recipe per week.
This week I found a delicious looking recipe for chicken on Recipezaar.com and decided that tonight I would make it. Most of the ingredients we had on hand, but I few had to be bought special. I also made a few minor changes to it, omitting one thing and adding another, and making a little bit of a sauce as well.
Much to my surprise it turned out fantastic! I’ll be making it again in the future.
