Find a new way of life

This used to be “find a new job.” But the more I thought about it, the more a new job seemed inadequate. I was going to say, “find a new career,’’ but that didn’t say enough. I want to do more than move from one office to another. I want the whole thing to change.

By saying “find a new way of life,’’ it sounds like I may decide to eat roots and bark and possibly drink recycled urine. As attractive as that sounds, I don’t think that’s quite what I’m going for here.

Instead, I would like to identify myself completely as a writer, work as a writing coach, work at home, establish my own hours and work schedule. I know, I’m not asking much here, but hell, why not?

The reason this dropped, is because in a way, I’m no longer sure I simply want to move from one job to another. This goal doesn’t quite cut it. I’m thinking instead about a whole new career.
