Awesome.
my sis and I went to see this last night. (I wanted to see either this or A Christmas Carol, and my sis said okay to Avatar.)
We watched the 3-D version. Mind-blowing beauty. I love Pandora, the world is so beautiful. My sister fell in love with the seeds of the Tree of Souls… little flowing jellyfish type things (called atokiriná’)... They reminded me a bit of Dust (from The Golden Compass )—not in terms of how they look, but in terms of their being these intelligent spores or spirits… I can’t find a good picture of them online!
Gorgeous film…. I could watch the forest forever…

The Proposal is a Sandra Bullock vehicle… Nice if you want an easy to watch chick flick with a few mild laughs. Kind of silly, but better than 27 dresses, and was good for de-stressing.

An Education is another fascinating film. My friend S was visiting from SF. (she came out to run the marathon and decided to make a small vacation out of it). We had no plans to see a film, almost didn’t go, but then we did. I’m glad we did, although there were times I was creeped out.

Not as good as I expected but alright.
at times it’s unintentionally depressing.
don’t ask.

didn’t have too high hopes for it, so it was much better than expected! really enjoyed most of it… predictable romantic comedy, but felt good to watch Jim Carey after a long time…
