Last summer was not good for camping… lots of rain and a brand new baby. Now… this summer come rain or shine I intend to go camping a couple of times with the whole family… even the baby!!

Back in may I had been lost for a while and needed to find myself. So, I organised everything at home for V. to be OK with the kids and I left for nowhere with my car and camping gear. It had been many years since I had last camped. I ended up in Shenendoah National Park in the mountains of Virginia. I spent 10 days there reading, hiking, writing, resting….. It felt soooooo good. I came back a changed man. I was myself again. Now, I really need to start doing it more often!
