Get a new job

for another year! While I was on vacation with the family, I exchanged e@mails with my principal and she found something for me. She had asked if I wanted to work in my field or if I wanted to work in her school and I told her I prefered to stay at the school, (it’s just 1.5 km from home) it’s a sacrifice I was willing to make in order to work with nice people and to stay close to home. So I ended up with 4 different subjects with 2-3 different groups. It’s not great, but I could do with one less car, I’m close to home, V’s job and the Kids’ schools too…. Maybe it’ll be nicer in the future…. Still, it’s better than driving 80 or 50 Ks a day to go and come back from work!!

I’m just ranting here…. I really am happy to have a job. especially one so close to home!

Hey everyone, I got it, Last friday, I was confrmed in my position for the rest of the school year!!!all wright!!!

It will all have to be done again next august, but I’m good for now!!

I was told by my principal, that she was working hard with the guy I’m replacing to keep me until the end onf the school year and he would do something else!! It’s not done yet, but…. it’s getting there!

Back in August, I found a new job. I started teaching in my town’s high school. For the first time in a 9 years carreer, I finally teach the subject I was trained for!!!! I finally teach social studies and it’s just 5 minutes from my house. The only down thing about it… it just until Christmas. But Hey!, it gave me back some fun about teaching.

The school year ends soon and I must say I’m so depressed about my job that I’m not sure I want to keep going… I’ve been teaching for 8 years and I NEVER teched my subject.

Next week I’ll go to the school board and see if I can get something better for next year!
