Daily: Reflect on 5 things for which I'm grateful.

3- The baby was happy to se me when I got him from his 1st day of daycare
4- 1st day of daycare was good
5- Going to watch TV with my love!

2. Very good day at work. The students were great today!
3. Having diner while the sun was still out!!
4. My parental leave coming soon! (6 work days to go!!)
5. After a good meal, I have a great dessert waiting for me… apple and berry crumble!!

WOW! It’s almost been 1 year since I wrote here!

4- Family… we have a new baby on the way…. not planned in any way, but we’re very happy about it anyway!

1- Even though I’m pissed at my ISP’s tech because she made me do something that erased ALL the e@mail I had in my inbox… Let’s say I’m grateful that I now have a 2Gb inbox instead of 5Mb.

2- I bought a computer game that we all like and since it’s about monsters, my baby girl in not scared of them anymore. She knows she can slay the ones in he closet as we do in the game!!

3- My baby girl turned 6 this week and we brought a few of her friends to play bowling and have lunch there with a piece of cake.

4- My sister is finally back from her 3 months hiking trip to France & Spain and she seems to be much better than when she left.

5- I’m hapy I took 2 minutes to write an entry today… It had been quite a while.

1- Working with my cousin. Whenever something goes wrong at work, I can count on her to listen. Just like today, when a ?*#$hole colleague of mine f(?$* with me and kept me from having remedial with my students.

2- Not feeling bad for having told my principal all about what happened.

3- Played flor hockey like a GOD and it felt great to spend all that negative energy on real good activity.

4- Dreaded my class with my ADD class this morning, but it went super smooth…. very good morning until the crappy incident.

5- Spent time with both my family and V’s sister last weekend. We walke on Ste-Catherine street, downtown Montreal on Saturday and had lunch at Carlos & Pepe’s. On Sunday, we went for a walk in the woods behind my folk’s house and the colours and sun were just amazing…see pic.

1- Finished early and it’s Friday

2- Played floor hockey yesterday again and it felt great. Our new players are really good.

3- Ad. Loves going to kindergarten.

4- I’m working with really nice people.

5- Getting the “Green team” (eco-friendly student commitee) going for a new school year.

6- Having a completely $#$x%x?%? class this mornig, but following it with a good one.

7- Buying new hockey equipment for myself and giving my name as a sub for the teacher’s Ice Hockey league.

8- Receiving 2 brand new teachers guide for the new social studies program… just for me!!! (I can’t believe they cost over 500$ each!)

1- We started to play floor hockey again today!!

2- Planned and did a great class activity with my students in my new Career Choice class today. Yay for me!

3- Nice weather! and even nicer for tomorrow.

4- Home grown cherry tomatoes… yumm!

5- No fight with the kids today!!

still, let’s try to find something…

1- Managing to talk to the payroll lady and having her explain why I only had 2 day of pay this week instead of 12!

2- Finding out someone at school is not doing their job, but that now the problem is solved and “I” managed to minimize the damage.

3- The nice lady at payroll that managed to fix that someone’s mistake.

4- To know that I’ll have my money by Friday.

5- Going to the unemployment office and have answers as to why I haven’t recieved any money over the summer… “oups, computer problems… sorry”

6- Getting a truck load (very small truck!! ;-) ) of money by the end of next week.

OK, now was there something NOT regarding money that was good today? ...... Oh! yes!

7- Not having to argue with a bus driver that doesn’t whant to take my son to school because he doesn’t know him. In fact I finally met a nice one that even offered to pick him up closer to our house!

Now, let’s wish for a better day tomorrow!
