Fumbling through français 4 years ago

Still listening to French radio, and I just found the station on the Web so I can listen during work. I’ve also dug out my old high school textbooks and plan to go through them, as well as reading out loud from travel guides, children’s books, etc. to get used to pronouncing French again.

Maybe I’m not that bad, but my French is certainly very, very rusty, particularly when it comes to speaking. At least I can still understand a bit. My wife and I listen to French news (Radio French International, http://www.rfi.fr) while having breakfast during the week, and although I don’t understand all of the news stories, I can figure out some of it. It might be time to add some French movies and books to their respective viewing/reading lists.
