finish unpacking

We were over at my wife’s parents’ house today, to go through a shed that had some of my wife’s stuff. We ended up taking four or five boxes full of stuff, which was great for the in-laws but not so much for us. We did go through three boxes when we got home, but my wife will probably pick up three more on her next visit. And just when the guest room was starting to empty out, too!

My wife’s parents stopped by today and dropped off a bookcase they weren’t using. That allowed me to empty the two boxes of books that were still in the coat closet, and we even have some space left over for if - who am I kidding, when - we get more books.

most of my books are off the floor, EIEIO!

I bet a wave and a few muttered words would get most of our stuff put away in our new apartment. Oh well, guess we’ll have to do it the old-fashioned way—bit by bit, box by box.
