3. Don’t Stop Believing by Journey. So I just went on spring break to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. There was a lot of driving involved: driving to do touristy things, driving to hike, driving through mountains. We weren’t exactly prepared CD wise, but we did have a copy of That’s So 80s, a mix tape with Don’t Stop Believing on it. We’d drive around, scream the lyrics, and feel victorious.

2. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Theme Song. It’s silly, I know. It is just the song from Best Day Ever. In Spring 2007, my best friend and I went on an adventure, and it became the best day of my life. We ended the adventure by driving up and down the main road and blasting this song, bringing joy to the good people and turtles of Kentucky. :-)

1. Forever Young by Bob Dylan. My dad wrote my baby ad for my senior yearbook and quoted this song. He put in the picture of me, staring up at the camera when I could barely walk.
”’May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung.
May you stay forever young.’
Love, Dad, Mom, and Jamie.”
