I actually unpacked a box the other day. Crazy stuff.
Of course, now we’re thinking of switching my office and the guest bedroom, so I don’t know whether it’s worth it to unpack anything else.
Le sigh.

The process stalled last time. (Note that the last entry was 42 weeks ago, and I never marked it done.)
I’m taking the move to Brooklyn as an opportunity to create some new order and develop some good habits with my workspace. I’m taking my time about getting my office together this time – but not in a procrastinatory way. I’m thinking about what I do with each thing, rather than tossing it in a shelf or drawer to deal with later. I’m dealing with everything as I handle it, pretty much.
And hopefully, I won’t wind up having to store/trash/freecycle a ton of books.
It’s not done, and much of what was accomplished I did by just moving stuff to the porch, but it is more organized and I have room to work at my easel.
