Well, the August plan didn’t happen, but we’ve made big progress. We just got a loan to considate our credit card debt; doing so should allow us to save a bunch of money, AND move to Manhattan or Brooklyn in the next couple of months.

We’ll see how the new plan goes.

Our current plan is to have our credit card debt – and our massive tax bill this year – all paid off by the end of August. It involves putting off some things we’d really like, of course (like a vacation this winter), but to have the money freed up will make a huge difference to us.
