get a job

Got a job in Portland working in the kitchen of a local restaurant after nearly two months of no work. I hate not working, so I’m glad I got this. Now I just gotta balance it out with the rest of my life.

it pays better, but it’s more stupid. customer service dealing with payment arrangements. i do have some friends working there, though, and it’s right along the MARTA (mass transit) rail line. I won’t be biking to work, but I do have to walk some and I’m at least using mass transit. Hopefully it will be an alright job.

long hours and low pay, but now i can pay some bills at least. i’m thinking about trying for a second one, maybe a night shift somewhere. then i can really have no time left in my life. yay.
