have a library in my house

is to have an extensive and substantial movie/book collection by the time i have my own digs. and by ‘own digs’ i mean in the distant future when i’m no longer leasing.

last book i bought and just finished minutes ago is Freakonomics.

My dvd collection has reached 170 so far. all carefully selected (except maybe a very select few (3?) that were gifts from the evil ex. he obviously never knew me.

in my narrow ceiling to floor book shelf here in my apartment.

for christmas i got two great books i’ve been meaning to buy for myself for a long long time now.

The first Postsecret book and 1,000 Places to Visit Before You Die. Love love love them.

my bedroom in houston is the family library. books both my dad and I (the readers) buy go in my bedroom. have an entire wall filled with books from ceiling to floor. my poor dad has so many that he’s also taken an entire wall of the garage.

in the almost-move-to-houston, I sent home boxes of books I had in my old apartment, only brought back a couple of books.

always been my dream to have a library in my own house. currently, my goal is to acquire classics and books i love that haven’t gotten and books i’ve been meaning to read for forever. oh. and to fill up a built in shelf in the new apartment.
