write a book

i have a writing date with a friend of mine on tuesday. never sat down to creatively write anything besides journal entries. but my journal entries/stories have been popular amongst friends and parties. been told to try to write a humorous book.

also with 2 other friends, started a writing group. first deadline april 26 and our prompt: food.

I have an online journal. it’s now password protected. A friend of mine who has the password was showing his girlfriend my journal and she said:
“she does modern novelist fiction style writing. Sexy. “

that totally made my day.

I’m only considering writing a book because I tell a lot of stories when I socialize. The past year or so, I have been getting affirmations from people, telling me I should write a book when I tell these stories.

I already have collections of mini stories, usually funny experiences I’ve had that I would love to sew into a seamless tale.
