Just been away for a weekend on Stewart Island.
Loved the bush… me and my lovely wife Miriam exchanged lots of thoughts about our future wilderness retreat… We both agreed that it would be nice to be near water such as a beach, river or lake but also agreed that sandflies are a big NO!
So we’re thinking about Central Otago at the moment…

I have just spend a few days in the Fiordland of New Zealand.
It was amazing even though the weather wasn’t sunny and clear.
The Fiordland is an official National Park and has also been recognised as a world heritage area or something rater. It covers 1.2 million hectares of bush clad mountains and cliffs, ever regenerating.
Surely, I could get myself a hideout here and enjoy some amazing time away from my profession.
