i have no regrets. due to the busyness of my schedule i had to sacrifice precious time to get the rehearsals in. i thoroughly enjoyed every part about performing on stage. ironically i hate immediate attention or being the center of attention in group/social settings, but i love performing.
about a month ago i prayed and asked God if i could be on the stage again. it’s quite ironic, you’d think, because i hate attention, yet i feel at my best when i’m on stage.
two weeks ago the music director at my church called to set me up in a role for the christmas play. i must admit that acting is not my forte. but i’m not sweating over this role because the description of this character is very similar to the person i am.
i am so excited for this opportunity!
