Get a MacBook Pro

I’m really happy with my new MacBook Pro. It’s an excellent laptop. Very well designed, and lots of fun.

Monday I received several calls from various Apple retail stores to tell me that they had received the 2.0 GHz MacBook Pro. To bad I already ordered mine online, or I could have probably got one from the store.

My extended warrenty & DVI Video Adaptor arrived today. The laptop itself is still scheduled to arrive April 7th.

I gave up on trying to get one through a retail store so we ordered one from Apple today.

I went to the SOHO store today, only to find out they received about 20 on Monday and promptly sold all of them. They said they’re expecting another shipment on Friday, and I might be able to get one then. Online order time is 2-3 weeks according to the people in the store.
