But I’m here! I’m settling into my new place and I was able to explore the country a bit before hand. I guess we’ll see if it’s ‘Worth doing’ but so far I’m excited to be here!

I pushed back my flight until March, since most of the Teaching Jobs in Japan start then. But I’m putting myself into a bit of debt to get over there and get set up, which is a little nerve-racking… But after a little while I should be okay. If I stay for the full twelve months, I’ll still be able to save a decent amount. And if things don’t work out, I can always move back into my parents basement until I get on my feet again, lol.
It’s all about the experience.

Applied for my working holiday visa in Japan today. So excited! ...and so nervous :S
But it’s settled, I’m going. The wheels are in motion :)

I’m starting to get really excited about this possibility! I bought a Japanese phrase book today and I’ll be practising on my coworkers.

I’m starting to seriously think about teaching English in Japan after Christmas. I think it would be such a different experience. Learning a new language, experiencing a different culture… I’m really looking forward to it! I hope I can get myself together in time.
