what happened to a neighborhood? 2 years ago

Growing up I knew everyone on the block. Families had dinner together, kids played and people looked out for each other. Now I live in an apartment building and I know NO ONE. How depressing! You hear these stories about people who die and their rotting bodies are found by their neighbors weeks later!

Not gonna be me. How can I meet these folks? A lot of them are older too…parties won’t cut it.
