and felt like they were trying to brain wash me the entire time I was there. They weren’t just about homeopathic remedies, they were also all about ridiculous government conspiracy theories. They spent a lot less time teaching massage than they did “the government is poising our water supplies” etc, etc. I did very little massage and just felt like I wasted $7000 on learning inaccurate bull shit.

My advice for anyone looking into this is to be very careful about what school you choose. Pick a professional, scientific school. The school I went to SEEMED like one of those. Srsly. BE CAREFUL.

Aaaaaannnnnd it looks like it’s going to work out really well for me. We’ve already learned full body swedish and let’s just say I’m pretty damn good at it. I haaaave to study anatomy more though if I plan on graduating. My school stresses the phsyiological effects of massage a lot, so we need to know a lot of anatomy.
