decide on a career

I’ll be 21 in two days and I have yet to figure out what I really want to do with my life. I have so many different interests but there isn’t one single career that I’m passionate enough about to make a commitment. Sometimes I think I’d like to be a lawyer or maybe just a paralegal. I’ve also thought about nursing, diagnostic medical sonography, high school teacher, pilot,etc. Basically I want to make good money and have lots of time off. Lol. I have a pretty good job now working for the OU Health Sciences Center. I have excellent benefits including almost 6 weeks vacation a year but the pay isn’t quite what I wanted. I used to be a sales rep (for Dell Computers)and I was pretty successful so with commission I made really good money for someone my age. But money isn’t everything and I grew to HATE the sales industry and I had to get out. Now I make about $10,000 less per year but my job is a million times better. I guess that’s why they say you can’t have it all. Anyway, what I was getting at is since I like my current job sometimes I think about just staying there and trying to move up somehow. Who knows?
