My family came up for a visit this past weekend and I took that as an opportunity to stuff my face after living on the few groceries I had left all week (some not so appetizing combinations there…) Anyway- one fish taco, one bowl of chowder and some nachos later my stomach is screaming out in protest. Looks like it’s back on the wagon for me. :)

Only had cheese/dairy once or twice in the past week, and in only small quantities (a slice of cheese on my veggie burger out to eat, Smartfood popcorn, Country Crock butter (is this even dairy?)). Feelin’ good! It is much easier to eat this way on a budget & without others having it in the house. We’ll see how long this lasts once my food stamps are processed and I have a bit more to spend on groceries. I’ll try to experiment with some vegan cheeses/dairy products.
