i think? 2 years ago

well. i don’t think i’ll ever get over that persisten urge to buy random, un-needed art supplies when i see them (from markers and paints and more sketch pads to fabric and beads and anything that glitters.) but lately i have been truly buckling down and making things out of the stuff i already have. which is wonderful. and i can (most of the time) lift my chin at the sight of new crayons or blank canvases and just move on, knowing i have plenty already and pretty much no money or time to waste.
i love art. but unfortunately it is a hobby that i must forever keep in check. of course, i have finally learned and will hopefully continue to create rather than buy then let things rot on a shelf.
