I rejoined the gym a little over a month ago. It was great to be back after a month off. I had my assessment thiw week and my fat percentage had dropped by loads. So much so I didn’t trust it and asked them to repeat it. The two results were 29.7% and 31.3%. Either way it’s a huge change from my last test at the end of November with 41%. I have gone up a few kg but that has to be muscle. so I’m not concerned.
Since I’ve been back at the gym I’ve been going a minimum of 3 times a week, usually 4. Cardio machines and Weights two day a week and Step or Aerobics on the other two. It’s sure paying off.
To recap
Start October 45% Fat and 80kg
End November 40.4% Fat and 80kg
Early March ~30% Fat and 84 kg
Not far till I’m down to the recommended 20-25% range.

I am in a rut.
I missed time over Christmas and as a result packed on the pounds. ANd its all made worse by the fact that my gym membership ran out. I am going to renew it but any day now I should be a student and that will makeit cheaper, loads cheaper. I’m still just waiting for it to finish contracts. I miss the gym!

I had my assessment yesterday and my fat percentage has gone down!. I was 45% fat, now I’m only 41.4%. My weight has stayed the same, so that means I’ve had about 7 pounds change from fat to muscle. Yay!! Thats in 7 weeks, going to the Gym 2-4 times a week and not being too over-zealous with what i’m eating. Still healthy, just not a ‘diet’ as such.

I have my first reassessment this afternoon at the Gym. I’ve been feeling better, and sleeping better. My boyfriend says he can see a difference and he loves it. I’m curious if my fat percentage has moved. I don’t care about weight or BMI, I don’t trust either of them as both can be skewed by muscle. I want to get to the point where I have a healthy fat percentage. I must have got better. I’ve been feelign better after going to Aerobics too. I no longer feel I need to collapse.

After ignoring the slow weight gain over the past few months I had a few Fat Days in a row. That was it, I joined the gym. I used to belong to one before I moved 18 months ago and I miss that feel-good after-workout feeling. I went for my fitness assessment last week and found my fat percentage is way high. 45% My goal is to get that down to 25% to begin with, I’m not so concerned about the actual pounds, Then I’d be in the acceptable range for women. I’m going back to the gym today to get my programme.
