start a private practice

Awesome.

I have my license, my liability insurance, and some start-up funding from two very generous family members. Business cards are printed, the website is in the works, and the office space is ready to go. Now I just need a referral.

Working with a friend to support each other in starting our practices. So far we have a space and some ideas about networking and marketing ourselves. We’ve also started a supervision group with some peers. Next up: I need to find a supervisor.

I’ve applied for the LCSW, begun studying for the exam, and found a practice space. Next up: continue studying, pass the exam, find a supervisor, and develop referral sources.
