French..Yay!

So through my local college I am taking French classes once per week. There is four levels to this course before you get the certificate (woo).
Being Canadian the choice was not hard in this case – I will definitly consider attempting more languages to help me in my quest to travel the world, and this will get me as far as Montreal.

I am currently working in a cafe on a ski resort in BC. There are alot of different people I meet every day, only for a minute or two and most people after that I forget. But one man will stick with me forever. First of, about this cafe. My boss hires alot of his seasonal workers through a school located in Vancouver that teaches english as a second language, so almost all of my co-workers are from another country and speak a language other than english as their primary. So I hear some of the Brazilian girls speaking in their native tongue to a customer, then he asks if the Japanese girl is working, and than carries a conversation with her in Japanese, lastly while telling some of us that he has mastered 8 languages, and travelled the world he throws some Russian regards to another worker, I was flabbergasted,(so few occasions to use the word, but this is one) In the 5 minutes he was in my presence he showed me that it is possible, and that will motivate me to strive for this goal.
