stay a positive pessimist

I mean, yes I am completely contradicting myself. Although it just sounds good. I think this means that I am just “being” Not positive, not negative, just “being”.
I got a shirt once with a picture of Eeyore, (my favorite character) and the phrase “Positive Pessimist” And ever since that it has always stayed with me. I mean at that time I was too young to understand what exactly it meant, and the meaning was “me”
