This past Monday, I took a workshop, which included a one man show by the same actor who conducted it. He was mentored by Viola Spolin and Paul Sills, so I’d like to read more on them, or even find YouTube videos on them.

I did a workshop for filmmakers because they needed actors for the filmmakers to work with. I had a very trying time with someone and I had to put my foot down and put her in her place. I’d never been so insulted and disgusted by someone’s mistreatment of actors.
Since taking some improv workshops many years ago in the ‘90’s, it seems to come out of me when a sound or word will trigger me. Just riffing off of customers amuses me, but to do it more often on stage is what I need to do.
I’m taking a workshop starting next week.
I’ve taken one over the summer and it was a hoot!
I’ve also submitted to http://www.improvmonologueproject.com and think the uploaded stuff didn’t take.
I’ll know when I see something on their website.
