Going once a week!

I joined the yoga class on Mondays at work. It’s a hatha class… challenging without being too much of a workout in the middle of the day. The instructor makes it fun and different every now and then, too. One day she did yoga for the chakras and explained each of the chakras. Oddly enough, something I have never learned about even though I’ve practiced yoga for a long time.

Yesterday we did a series of Tibetan Rites. The first rite is spinning in a circle… yes, like a Whirling Dervish!! Apparently the purpose of this is to spin off negative energy. I am all about spinning off the negative energy.

Went to yoga last week w/my yoga buddy Jenny. We did the yin/pranayama class for mega-relaxation. It felt good!

It’s especially nice to get to class when I actually work out more than once during the week. Makes me feel like I went full circle!
