11. I went out last night and drank two glasses of wine, which Lee kindly bought for me. It was fun. I have only been out and drunk alcohol at all twice before.
12. I have never been kissed, or even had a boyfriend.
13. I dressed up as a cowgirl last night, with dark jeans, knee-high black boots, a red-check shirt, and Aussie stetson.
14. I don’t usually wear pyjamas! (too hot)
15. One of my biggest weaknesses is a tendency to daydream rather than concentrate on the work I’m doing.

6. I’m a Big Brother addict!! despite despising reality tv! it was Preston and Chantelle that got me started liking it.

7. I have decided to take a grade on the organ, and my teacher says I can take grade 8. I’m really excited! I’m glad that I’m going to study for a grade—it will make me work a lot harder and get to a higher standard than otherwise.

8. I got drunk for the first time two nights ago. Nothing bad happened.

9. I still haven’t lost that extra pound, so I can’t get a nice shiny leather bag!! I was one pound away from it—ONE pound! and then I went up again! sob

10. I need to tidy up my room!! especially as some friends are going to come over soon. It’s like magic, the way my room gets disorganized by itself (or so it feels)! The law of entropy in action…

OK, things nos. 1-5 about me 2 years ago

1. I was born on Dartmoor in Devon, England, where I lived till I was ten. My family then moved to Cornwall.

2. I’m a quarter Irish, quarter English and Jewish, half Scottish.

3. Music is something I love, especially classical music. I have learned to play the piano, and am in the process of learning the church organ, cello and flute at the moment.

4. I have been abroad twice, to Italy and Romania. Italy was just a holiday with some other young people, but in Romania I was a volunteer English teacher at a children camp. It was VERY hard work, as we had no translators!

5. Books have a special magnetic field that sucks me in and renders me immune to work!! I have just finished Dan Brown’s ‘Digital Fortress’ (very exciting), and also Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’—which wasn’t nearly as scary as I had heard.
