Still working on becoming debt free. It is a difficult and slow process. I have recently started grad school and therefore most of my budget goes toward tuition. Anything left in budget usually gets allocated to my travel fund. Hopefully Uncle Sam will return all of my federal tax so I can go on vacation. Really I think it will be used to pay citibank. That’s the boring responsible chioce, but is the path I have chosen. At least for the period leading up to my financial freedom.

I have learned how to budget and save money, however, I have encountered that I tend to spend all of my savings on travel. It’s a delightfully joyous problem I have. I want to become debt free so very badly but my desire to travel overcomes my goal of becoming debt free. I will eventually get there. I think I will begin on a budget with a specific time frame just so it will be easier to stay on the path.
Still working and paying off debt. I’ve paid off about $6500 in the last few months. I still have debt but am now saving for an extended trip.
I’ve not had any great sucess with this. It seems that Everytime I save any money or pay off debt I always spend it or run up credit cards on a new vacation. I guess my passion and desire to travel is greater than becoming debt free.
