I still need a white bookshelf, it would really pull my room together. Man I wish I lived near an IKEA, I bet they have a good/cheap one.

I took a break from this for a while, I guess I needed to save up some more money, hehe. I’m quite pleased with everything so far. I love my desk and I made a great decision. I am going to leave the bed sheets that I have right now.
I still really need a white bookshelf. There was one at West Elm I was considering, because it would go well with my desk. But the sides are open and I am worried that it isn’t practical for the things I would put on it. But it’s not that expensive and it would look better than what I have, so maybe, just maybe I will get it soon. I would have to move it to the other side of the wall it is on, next to my closet door.
I also need a new desk chair. I hate this one, plus it’s ugly. I can’t decide what I want though. Either something more desk-like with leather and two arms. Or something that looks a little nicer in a bright, bold color with no arms. If I did the latter, I think I might want to get a little lounger or comfy chair that I can put in the corner of my room where my bookshelf now is.
I’m still working on this. I have started decluttering and it’s going well so far. I really need a new bookcase that is white wood. I also think I am going to move it to the other side of the room. I also need a new desk chair. And something to go on the wall above my desk…something inspiring preferably.
I got my new desk from West Elm. I love it! :-D Now, is the hardest part of the redecoration process. Decluttering and finding a place for everything. I’m a bit of a pack-rat, so it is going to take some time.
It makes my room look SO much bigger. I should have done this years ago!

This one is from Elle Decor. I love the little chandelier and how light and airy the room feels. My dream bedroom.
