stop homophobia

Homophobia is completely unneeded and unnecessary. People are too close-minded to realize that it is possible for someone to be attracted to someone of the same sex. Where I live, which is in Tennessee (lucky me), people either think that people are involved with someone of the same sex because they’re “horny little teenagers” or because they just want to tick people off or because they’re possessed with a demon, the latter being the most commonly heard where I live. People need to realize that other people are in same sex relationships because they know that love has nothing to do with gender…well, technically, I don’t believe in love, but…I’m trying to make a point here…lol. It upsets me when I hear people say “gay” when they’re talking about smething or someone they dislike. It hurts me to hear about some form of hate crime that happens because someone has a different sexual preference. What is the worst to me is, most of the people I know that are against homosexuality and bisexuality only are because the Bible says it. Apparently, a religion that preaches love has certain loopholes. I’m hoping with all of my being that this will be stopped.
