I’ve had a two-month hiatus from my treadmill. Ahh sweet sloth.
My surgeon encouraged me to start back up with the excercising. Not for weight maintenance – Since that doesn’t seem to be a problem with me – But for the overall health and mental benefits. He says it would be a good idea to start back up especially in preparation for my surgery. Since people who excercise regularly tend to bounce back and recover much more easily from surgery than those who don’t.
So I did the treadmill tonight. Even at a lower incline and with lighter weights, it still kicked my ass. Hopefully it won’t take me too long to get back up to speed.
