I used to be 300 pounds. I have lost about 160 pounds. It was definitely not easy, and it took a long time. But with diet, excercise, willpower, and determination, it can be done.
Of course it’s worth doing, who would argue it’s not?? I finally know what it feels like to be a “normal” size. It’s easier to go up and down the stairs. I can stand for longer periods of time. Clothes are MUCH cheaper and I have more selection. And I feel more accepted by socitey in general.
