the amount of coffee I’m drinking every day doesn’t help either. But what am I to do? If the chum will wake up at these unreasonable hours and then I’m supposed to parent him and not lie prostrate on the floor…......

I’m trying to be super conscious in those times of keeping my mouth ajar. Seems to be helping. Have only had the shooting pains once or twice recently.
If I don’t deal with the stress related clenching, the word at the dentist’s is that I’ll need a nightguard.
But I don’t clench at night- so I’ll need to wear it during the day when doing activities that trigger my clenching.
That’ll be attractive.
